定语从句（二）
常见的关系副词引导的定语从句
1：where在句中指地点，可用in/at which 等代替。
eg:This is the hotel where /in which they are staying .这是他们正在居住的宾馆。
Shanghai is the place where my father once lived .上海是我爸爸曾经住过的地方。
2：when 在从句中指时间，可用at /on which 等代替。
eg:That happened on the day when I arrived .那件事发生在我到的那一天。
That was the day when /on which he was born .那就是他的生日。
3：why在从句中指原因，可用for which 代替。
eg:Can you give me the reason why you are alwats late ?你能给我说出你总是迟到的理由吗？
4：as在定语从句中常和the same 和such 连用，可用in which 代替。
eg:I did the experiment in physics in the same way as he did .我用和他同样的方法做了这个物理实验。
We'll make such computers as are needed in different branches of science.我们将制造出科学个领域所需要的那种计算机。
