精讲：（1）in which thousands of students across China took part .为非限制性定语从句，修饰前面的名词 survey 。

（2）take part (in sth.)指“参与；参加”。本句中把介词in 提到引导词which 之前。

eg:Many students took an active part in the sport meeting .很多学生踊跃参加了这届运动会。

（3）across China 意为“全中国”，across 指“在......处；遍及”。

eg:The song is very popular across England.在全英国这首歌很流行。

2：It seems some students would like to start to work as soon as possible ,so that they can help provide better lives for their parents .

似乎一些学生愿意尽早参加工作，以便能让父母生活得更好。

精讲：（1）It seems (that)+从句，意思是“似乎/好像......”

eg:It seemed that he was doing his lessons in the classroom .=He seemed to be doing his lessons in the classroom.他好像在教室里做功课。

(2)so that 在本句中引导目的状语从句，意思是“以便；为的是”。

eg:He got up early this morning so that he could catach the first bus .今天早晨他起得很早，为的是能赶上第一班车。
