It's My Father

Little Tom doesn't go to school and telephones the teacher. He pretends to be his father and says,"Hello, Is that the teacher speaking? My little Tom caught cold today and he can't go to school. He asked me to ask you for a day's leave."

The teacher at the oter and at the telephone asks, "Who is that speaking?"

"It's my father, sir." answers Tom.
