这两个词都可以用作名词和动词，
（1）作名词时，意义相近，但不是同义词。
作名词时，award的意思是“奖品”、“奖金”，指因为作出杰出成就而受奖。例：

三者均表示可能性，但用法上有所区别。

1）possible指客观上有可能性，但往往含有希望很小的意思。probable比pos- sible可能性大，表示“很可能”，指有实际依据或逻辑上合情合理。likely是从外表迹象进行判断，有可能发生的事。如：

It is possible，though not probable，that he will come tomorrow．他明天可能来，但也不一定准来。

(一)就近一致原则

(二) not only与but also后面所连接的词的词性必须对等：
