(1)It seems(that)+从句，意思是“似乎；好象******”。eg:It seemd that he was doing his lessons in the classroom.=He seemd to be doing his lessons in the classroom.他好象在教室里做功课。

（2）So that 在本句中引导目的状语从句，意思是“以便；为的是”。eg:He got up early this morning so that he could catch the first bus.今天早晨他起的很早，为的是能赶上第一班车。

seem的用法小结：

（1）seem+(to be)+形容词。eg:Her father seems(to be)a kind man.她父亲看起来是个亲切的人。eg:She seems(to be)sad.她似乎很悲伤。eg:The green leaves seemed more beautiful after the rain.绿叶在雨后显得更美了。

（2）seem+to do意为“好象；似乎”。eg:He seems to know everything.他好象什麽都知道。

eg:I seem to have seen her before. 我好象曾经见过她。

（3）seem+like+名词，意为“好象；似乎”。eg:It seems like years since we last met.我们似乎好几年不见了。

（4）It seems(+to+名词）+that从句意为“（在某人看来）好象；仿佛”。eg:It seems(that)he is lying.(=He seems to be lying.)看样子他好象在说谎。eg:It seemed to him (that)he would never be able to work out the question for good.在他看来，他好象永远都无法解决这个问题。

（5）seem+as if(as though)...意为“看样子似乎是..." eg:It seems as if he has been in the classroom all along.看样子他好象一直呆在教室里。
